Entry 3

This free* course introduces learners’ to the basic maths skills needed to work within a health and social care setting.

Extended Qualification in Maths for Health & Social Care

Level 1 - Extended

During this free* course learners will be encouraged to apply their knowledge during practical exercises; which include task-based activities set within the context of report writing, record maintenance, budget management, medicine calculations and time management.

It’s important to possess basic digital skills when working in health and social care, as you’ll likely be required to undertake digital activities as part of your day-to-day routine. English - but not as you know it

Our free* English language qualifications are suitable for anyone working in, or aspiring to work in the health and social care sector, who do not speak English as their first language. Each course is designed to improve spoken communication, vocabulary, grammar and report writing skills within the context of a health and social care setting.

This free* course is suitable for individuals who have recently moved to the UK and/or have no prior knowledge of the English language.
