Beginners Qualification in Maths for Health & Social Care - Entry 3
This free* course introduces learners’ to the basic maths skills needed to work within a health and social care setting. Skills include division, multiplication, rounding, fractions, 2D shapes, place value, measuring length and weight, money, measuring temperature and handling data. Course content is taught within the context of writing reports, maintaining accurate records, managing budgets, calculating medicines and managing time.
You will develop a range of skills which are highly valued by employers in the sector.

Length: 15 weeks. Expect 3 hours of face-to-face learning and 2 hours of online learning per week.
Classroom type: Online and face-to-face learning.

Extended Qualification in Maths for Health & Social Care
Level 1 - Extended
Building on skills covered in Level 1, learners will be encouraged to apply their knowledge during practical exercises; which include task-based activities set within the context of report writing, record maintenance, budget management, medicine calculations and time management.
Beginner’s Digital Skills for Health & Social Care
This free* course, which is suitable for absolute beginners, will equip you with skill you’ll use throughout your career by providing basic level skills and knowledge in IT.
